In Quiet Resting Places

The choral symphony In Quiet Resting Places was premiered in the Concert Hall of the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C. It is scored for soprano and tenor soloists, chorus and orchestra. Demands on players and singers are moderate. The original text, mostly adapted from scripture by Jane Griner, speaks of our responsibility for the earth in a manner that is engaging without being preachy.

I was blessed with the opportunity to sing this piece with the SanDiego Symphony. The music is challenging for singers of all kinds, but the passion and enthusiasm portrayed throughout the music is overwhelmingly breathtaking-- making it a life-long favorite.
